An interesting commission I had with Malthael from Diablo 3 on a Grand Arbiter Augustis IV.

The original image it was based on.

A Gif animation I made with some steps of the painting process.

One of the most detailed alters I've done with Deathwing from World of Warcraft on a Pross, Skyraider of Kher:

An animation I made with some of the painting stages:

And this is the original image I based it on:

Three more Attack on Titan related alters. Mikasa Ackerman, Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan. All fan art by me, except the Armored Titan and the Bearer of Heavens, which is based on a still from the anime.

My two new nouveau style alters, the android and the fox.

For those who wonder what a foxman is doing here, it's because "kitsune" means fox in Japanese. That's explains the weird creature in the original artwork.

And the test sketches. No idea why I added nipples on a female android.

The character on this card is Whitebeard from One Piece, based on the image from the manga right underneath.

And this is my first attempt to make a gif animation with the card at various stages during the painting.

A creature that brings despair when it hits the table but nice and simple to alter.

An anime I watched lately, after a long time, is Shingeki no Kyojin or Attack on Titan in English. I have to say that not only has intriguing story and action but also some of the most terrifying villains in all mediums. Funny thing is that these villains don't even talk, they just eat people alive...asides that they have the creepiest faces you'll see in any anime.
Anyway, I watched all the episodes so far, read the manga and here is an alter on my favorite Titan.

I really wanted to do a fan art of Mikasa Ackerman on a forest, just to use the mana for summoning the big guy. So here it is.

And the original sketch I made on paper.

With Death Note being one of my favorite anime, it's strange I haven't done much alters themed after it. The first is one I've done recently and the other one of my very first alters.

This alter was made for an altered art contest in Mtgsalvation.com back in March. The constest's challenge was to alter a card with manga or comic style but I ended up using both styles. The manga part is based on manga version of Chandra from the Japansese Chandra vs Jace box. In the comic part with Jace. I tried to have the 80's Marvel comics look. This is the link to the contest where the alter won the first place: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=500773

One of the cards I've done many times is Birds of Paradise. Here are some of them paired with their test sketches I've made for each one.

This version is winter themed:

Another winter themed version that I rejected and was left unfinished.

A Nouveau version:

The following two were painted on promo foils from M11:

This one was made for an altered card contest from Mtgsalvation.com. The contest's challenge was to paint a card inspired by a song, which in my case was Bird of Paradise by Snowy White. It finally won the first place :). This is the said contest http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=475538.

The reference photo I used:
